I didn't say company's don't go round checking on staff.
How have you come to that conclusion.
Why would a company knock on a door when the post I responded to was about staff being told to leave leaflets hanging out.

But you said it was a scare story and nobody goes round checking for leaflets hanging out?
So how does the company check?

An interesting discovery made today - man delivering leaflets told me that the company he works for tells him to leave leaflets sticking out. He said this is because company sends out someone on a motorbike to see that the leaflets have been delivered. It seemed genuine and very plausible. Now we know!

This is getting very boring now.
Leaving leaflets sticking out through doors is a sign of a disreputable company.

    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/residents-claimed-leaflet-deliveries-cardiff-13498607

"An estate agents has apologised after residents claimed the way leaflets were left “sticking out” of their letter boxes showed when their homes were empty.

Residents in Rumney, Cardiff, have claimed that leaflets advertising Allen & Harris estate agents on Albany Road were left hanging out of letter boxes last weekend, with some saying the leaflets “advertised” when homes were empty.

The estate agent have said they will no longer be working with third-party distribution company after concerns were raised."

Telling minimum wage staff that if they don't leave the leaflets sticking out of the doors,Wallace and Grommit it will be cruising up and down on a motorbike and If they don't see the leaflets sticking out, that MUST equate to non delivery( you weren't able to answer how that works) is ludicrous .

You still havent clarified your statements. Are you seriously using Wales online story on an estate agent as your source?
    police rules on leaflets?
How they check for leaflets being delivered since the leaflet hanging out check is a scare story in your own words.
Its simple. Just back up the statements you made.
Not really sure why you find this so tough.
Its not for me to tell you how it works or not. You simply said it wasnt the case.
