  • SO, a simple answer to the question: do they know the identity of the driver? woudl have been YES

If they know the identity of the driver, then its pointless talking about driver / keeper

You are in ignore mode it seems, EXCEPT for a LBA or a County Court claim form. You will, by reading the NEWBIES thread post 2, be entirely cogniscent of what those are.

Fail to deal with those in time, and you will have a CCJ to deal with.

    in a timely manner :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Regardless of the legitimacy of the ticket, I think the 30 minutes free usually applies to the first period of parking (so if you're only going to be a few minutes). i doubt it is intended as an add on at the end of your paid for period?
  • That's what I don't understand.

Sorry this is the first time posting on an online form. Was just seeking some advice and if I have a case against.

I can't seem to find this NEWBIES section to read anything.

So are you just suggesting I'm wasting my time not paying the fine?

The newbies FAQ thread is near the top of the forum list of threads

Whoever is being pursued over this is in the wait and see/debt collectors stage (see #6 above)

Have you used your real name as your forum username?

Then your really should ask MSE to change it to something totally anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:
    Q. How can I change my username?

    A.
In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.
Edited to add: I notice that Fruitcake has already asked this.

You need the wording on the notice re 30 minute free parking. Post it up so we can help.

If it allows you to park free for 30 minutes and then pay by the hour for subsequent parking, it is ludicrous not to allow 30 minutes after a paid for period. You could have returned to car after 4 paid hours, driven to another space to get your 30 minute free period.
