Best buys from Lidl?

Not particularly fond of white wine as it gives me stomach acidity with reflux but when I was on holidays in France this summer, I tried the LIDL CIMAROSA Chardonnay Colombard 13% alc. from South Africa.
What a wonderful wine as an aperitif and what a bargain at 1.99€ !
It bares a rhinoceros on the label but can not find it here in Northern Ireland. Does Lidl sell it in mainland UK ?
If you find it, just try it, you won't be disappointed :beer:0 -
The gi bread is great as is their sourdough bread and so much cheaper than others. Deluxe coleslaw is my favourite.0

Well, that's covered lots of thing that other people like ...... !
My philosophy is if it saves me money, I'll try it - if I don't like it, I'll go back to my previous brand. Simple!
We'd had lots of recommendations for Lidl's wines so, on a recent trip to France, we thought we'd stock up on our supplies. Faced with such a huge array at excellent prices, we were spoiled for choice so we picked out about half a dozen that we liked the look of, bought a single bottle of each, took them out to the car and proceeded to sample each one in turn!
We got some very funny looks from the other customers and the embarrassment wasn't even worth it - we didn't like any of them! :rotfl:0 -

The ordinary plain tablets are fine too. I make a special trip to Lidl every few months to stock up (Aldi is more convenient for me). As well as the dishwasher tablets I like their rinse aid and the salt is great as it comes in a dispenser.
As well as that we buy their luxury muesli (blue bag) as DH loves it although they're playing around with the packaging at the monument so the look of it will have changed.
Cornichons are fantastic too.0
