I'll go by what it says in Ofcom's General Conditions of Entitlement as amended 1 October 2018

I had Caller ID activated with Virgin today via online chat. I confirmed that it was now free but about 4 hours after the chat I recieved an email thanking me for changing my package and it would be an extra £4 a month:eek:
I will be ringing them on Monday. If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!0 -
you would think openreach would just enable this for everyone !
Not their job I guess
Why would OR who are responsible for the 'wires' between the exchange and the consumers property be able to 'enable this for everyone' ?...Sky and TT for example have their own 'exchanges' and CLI is a facility that they add or remove for their customers, OR have no way of altering the settings Sky and TT have for each individual customer at 'exchange' level, and CLI certainly isn't an OR product that service providers get from OR....even when it comes to BT , CLI isn't something OR are responsible for but BT Consumer using WLR3 ( BT Wholesale/TSO), so in short no it's not OR's job, it's nothing to do with them either0 -

Might just be an automated bill, I've had similar from Sky previously. Can you check your future bills with Virgin?0 -

I have looked at my contract from July and the new one sent and it is £4 more, I think they have applied the price increase from August that had not been applied before. Will still ring them tomorrow and see what they have to say.If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!0
