I know I need to update VCS and the court.
... and your driving licence (separate notification).
Am I able to do this via email?
Check your V5C and driving licence to see what the procedures are. Or go on to the DVLA website and there’s a live chat function. Ask the chatbot there. Alternatively try a Google search. If you can’t find which way to turn, send email and Royal Mail notifications.

Call the court to ask them their procedure.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough.I know how to update my driving licence and V5.

I was wondering specifically on how to update the court and VCS (parking company) as I'm sure I read you have an obligation to notify them if you move so any documentation can go to the correct address. I will ring the court today.

I have spoken to the court that is the correspondence address in Mansfield. They have updated our address over the phone but asked we send a letter to Nottingham court confirming it. He also said to just take the costs schedule on the day rather than posting it now as it's only a few days away.

He checked and said all still on for Thursday, I was secretly hoping they would pull out as I'm getting quite nervous now!

email the DPO at VCS (see their privacy page) and send them a DATA RECTIFICATION NOTICE , giving them your old and new addresses

perhaps attach a copy of a utility bill or V5C or similar to prove who you are and why its being done

using those search words will help you find similar posts

and yes notify the court by letter post, or drop the letter in at the actual court drop off

Thanks Redx. I emailed the litigation email that is on the letter sent with the witness statement this morning before I saw your response. I will email the DPO also now though to be on the safe side.

Just trying to get everything prepared for Thursday....

    I have
    - Printed off the lay representatives rights of audience order 1999
(http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/1225/made) to show when we get to the court so that I can speak on behalf of my husband (director of the limited company that is the defendant). I have done 3 copies just to be on the safe side.
    - Printed off 3 copies of the costs schedule and CPR rule 27.14 which explains that the costs can be claimed.
    - A copy of the letter advising of change in address just incase (although I don't think this is overly relevant).

I know I need to take a copy of the witness statement with the original copies of any letters/documents included in it. Do I need to print 3 copies of this also? I'm guessing I will but thought I would check as it is a substantial document!

Just had a look at the example skeleton arguements. Have to admit I don't think I'll have the time or mental energy to do one. Hoping it won't hamper our case. I feel our witness statement is very thorough.
