My last house sale is not listed on the land registry either. Maybe I own two houses ? :)

Ok this may be a really stupid but on Zoopla you can type in a property's address and it states all sales.
Late to the party, but no it doesn't.

Rightmove has more records for my post code.

Neither Rightmove or Zoopla has a record of our purchase in 2009.

Am I bothered? No, I like it because people can't see what we paid without buying the title documents. Those are what matters.

Zoopla doesn't have my purchase (which was from new). That might be because Zoopla only goes back 20 years and my purchase was 21 years ago. ;)

Rightmove also doesn't show my purchase.

    Does the LR?
  • I sold my previous house in Oct 2015 and it’s still not showing on Zoopla or land reg. That house was sold on again in 2017 and that sales does show up (as does my purchase of that house in 2006). Doesn’t seem worth worrying about as I’m definitely not still paying the mortgage, odd though

My last house sale never appeared on the LR sold list, but the records are all correct. It does happen.

Well I've got my title deeds etc. (became mortgage-free last year) and they have all the right details. Not seen any need to contact LR (or the equivalent in Scotland, if it's different). :)

Is the property registered? If you bought it years ago, it might not be.

If you've read the deeds then you'll know what the register is called! Depending on how up to date they are, they might only prove that you owned the property at some point in the past, not necessarily that you're still registered as the owner...
