Who thought it would turn out like this :rotfl:
The now near totally debunked housepricecrash.com has become a radical and aggressive protest website for remaining in the EU.
Nobody hardly posts on there anymore to discuss a property crash that will never happen, I take my hat off to the posters that have given up and taken up a truer battle in fighting the insane idea of Brexit.. I hear it on good authority as well that the nutcase posters on HPC were going a little too far and that legal action was heading there way.
RIP housepricecrash after 20 years on ranting, hello EU

Well, on the one hand you have a bunch of hate-filled nutcases who believe in an imminent market armageddon and continue to cling to this belief even when the promised day never comes, and who denounce anyone who doesn't share their beliefs as evil and stupid. And on the other, HPC. Not that surprising they should find common ground.0

Seems a rather bizzare move given that every time I have been on there and its offshoot site I have found the members very vocally in favour of Brexit.0

Perhaps money has come their way? Large sums seem to have been made available for anti-Brexit propaganda. (Won't work and just puts people's backs up even more.)0

I have actually got two more of them banned from their own site :rotfl::rotfl:, I am up to a few dozen now. The trouble with them is that they are so radical and so easy to wind them up and get the to say something totally not PC, I then threaten the mods with reporting it to the authorities and they are gone :rotfl:
The biggest mistake the new owners of that site committed was thinking post 2008 HPC would be a massive self indulgent hit, they are now watching every word and their posts say in case of a court case.0 -

They are getting traffic, that's all the money people care about, they do not care if there is a property crash or not, wonder what happened to the original owners?
Plus you will never get a person openly admit now in public that they are supporters of that site.0 -

The bitterness in this forum is palpable.0 -
I hope they are correct though, a nice stock market and house price crash would be brilliant.0

It depends where you're positioned. Many, me included, would do quite nicely, but the bitter and twisted buy to let landlords that inhabit this forum would lose their shirts and we would see less of the daft rolling faces.... LOL.0 -

FUMBRA would do anything to be rid of HPC.com, it was a financial cockup, they think the people that post on it are as nutty as we do0
