Nationwide T and C question

Options
Hi , on the refer a friend offer , it says you must have 2 DD's . Fair enough, It then says SO's and recurring card payments do not count..What is a recurring card payment in this context ?..Do they mean a recurring Debit card payment ? I presume a DD to pay a CC monthly is OK ?

DD for the credit card counts as one.

Recurring debit card payments (like a paying for breakdown cover yearly or phone top ups) dont count.

A recurring card payment would be marked [DEB] on your statement narrative rather than [DD]. It would be things like Netfl1x - something that leaves the account regularly but is processed through your card number rather than your bank account details.

A recurring card payment in this context is any payment set up via a continuous payment authority (CPA). They are processed by the bank as a card payment (DEB), rather than a DD so won't be counted for switching purposes.
