Atlantic refunds your over payment just before your rebate is due, They ARE NOT Daft!
Well, I do not have their T&Cs yet but they state that the cashback is based on average of monthly DD over last 12 months. Cannot see, unless they write it somewhere else specifically, how the fact that they refund the overpayment has anything to do with the amount of cashback. But as said will see in T&Cs.If you'd tried your idea a year ago it would have worked more like you hoped for...but 6 months of overpayments would then be reduced and your final cashback would be an average of 6 overpayments and 6 lower payments.

It doesn't really matter for how long they are going to let me make my overpayments. The whole point is that I'm going to get return on that cash far grater than if I had this money put aside in any type of saving account (including ISA, regular saver and anything else). Kind of feed dripping but with much higher interest rate0 -
Zalek,
I've said this on the other thread.
There's nothing that says that Atlantic will agree to you dramatically overpaying.
You don't set the amount for a DD, Atlantic do.
They take what they need, not what you want to give them.
If it has been set too high, it'll most likely be down to estimated reads (which we all know are a bad thing).
If you try it and it works though, let everyone know.0
