Why not give Gladstones some grief, complain to their regulatory body that they are trying to defraud you, a practice which even the SRA does not condone.

No Beamish, they do not. I have had a least 5 replies from them, all giving whichever down market solicitor about whom I have complained, a gold star.

It costs them money to reply, and sooner or later they will realise that these low rent firms are costing them too much.

They have already sanctioned Brill and Swartz, and Miah and Wright Hassle have adopted a lower profile of late. Then there was that rather aggressive firm in, IIRC, Bristol, he has gone quiet.

If they get hundreds of complaints I am sure that they will be forced to act
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Not saying they ignore letters but the clue is that
we still have Gladstones and BWLegal attacking
people with rubbish, wasting the courts time etc

Action is required, anyone can reply to letters

This information [STRIKE]should've[/STRIKE] should have been provided in your letter as per the pre-action obligations in the "Practice Direction - Pre-Action Conduct". I am not in a position to make good judgement based soley upon your letter as a large number of details about the claim(s) are omitted.

    My correspondence address is:

[STRIKE]Please note, I am not able to pick up mail from that location between 9th - 16th October 2018[/STRIKE]

Please note this is to be treated as a SAR, for your client's Data Protection Officer to handle, and an 'objection to processing', and a request to 'restrict processing' of my data whilst your client's DPO replies to the SAR in accordance with the GDPR.

I have sent a copy to the parking firm and you must now put the proposed robo-claim on hold to give me time to respond to the DPO's reply to my SAR, and in view of this Data Processing Restriction Notice.

    Yours Faithfully
Never tell parking scammers when you are away, or when you can't reply, or they will CHOOSE that date to file a claim and make life difficult for you!

I suggest you end the letter as above, and send a copy as a SAR to the parking firm too. Look at their PRIVACY PAGE on their website, for the contact details of their DPO. In fact I literally just posted the contact email I found when I looked, on another exact same UKCPM thread (no link, your task is to use the forum to go and find it).
