Thank you everyone for the replies.
Gladstones are trying to scam you, the extra £60 per
ticket ????? they are trying to extort money from you
We are told on a daily basis to never pay money to
scammers .......... YOU DO NOT PHONE THEM BACK
Gladstones are losers in court and highly incompetent
You have a LETTER BEFORE CLAIM. You must reply to this
only by email or letter.
Have they proven their claim ?????
You require a breakdown of the extra £60 per ticket
Did a debt collector called DRP ever write to you ????
READ UP ABOUT UKCPM

Del boy, you already know a lot. This is just a repeat after
repeat because the scammers keep repeating themselves
The Gladstones boys have nothing new to say, the rubbish
they come out with is very boring. But, as they are so
incompetent, we expect their driffle0 -
Hi All,
So yes I'm going to fight this. Trying to get my ducks in a row here as I'm on holiday from 9th - 16th October (LBC Letter Dated 27th September).
There is no email address on the LBC sent, I have seen:
litigation@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk
julie@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk
leanne@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk
Are any of these legit?
I've been reading through what I can, and there is a LOT to take in. Obviously starting with a simple response to the LBC is where I need to begin.
Thinking further along though, I might be able to challenge UKCPM's right to operate on the land, I've been trying to get through my leasehold agreement and I have found little in relation to parking in it and especially nothing in relation to hiring UKCPM to operate on the land. Will continue checking. I will update where I can, I feel its important not to go down a rabbit hole.0 -

I found them useful for writing takeaway order on;)
Good that your fighting it, don't get too bogged down in thinking what legalities you can use to fight these scammers, better to follow what the regulars advise, your not wrong though Landowner authority is definitely ONE of the defences to be used, others are Signage (or lack of usually) POFA 2012 and others I cant remember (heads gone)
Just read as many defences as you can and then it will be much easier for you to answer the regulars questions0 -
Yes. All of them I think. There is no email address on the LBC sent, I have seen:

Yes, a response that makes sense for your case, not a template, not a waffly or passive aggressive one that newbies can't easily understand.I've been reading through what I can, and there is a LOT to take in. Obviously starting with a simple response to the LBC is where I need to begin.

Your lease will have nothing about the parking firm. Look for what it DOES say about parking or easements or rights of the leaseholder.
And search the forum for these phrases to read useful threads & info:
Landlord Tenant 75% consensus
and
easement appurtenantPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How does this look for an initial response?:Dear Sirs,
I write to you in regard to Letter Before Claim XXX.
This letter contains little to no detail on the claims being made against me. Only costs, location(s) and dates. There is not information on the reasons for these claims nor mention of the evidence that your client(s) would hope to use against me.
I require your client to provide further information to me before I make the desicion about whether or not I need to seek legal advice and subsequntley defend these claims in County Court:
Please provide me forthwith:
- Full details of the claim, where, when (times & dates) the supposed infringement took place, this includes ALL photos taken (if any), with timestamps
- A duplicate of any contract(s) with the landowner upon which allows them the authority to hand out Penalty Charges
- Any evidence of a contract with myself
- Whether I am being pursued as the driver of said vehicle(s)
- Details of the signs on display (size, font in use and height)
- I would also like an interpretation of what the £160 per claim is. Including an itemised list of what the extra "£60" in "legal fees" consist of and how it is calculated, if I were to pay these, I would like to know exactly what I'm paying for.
This information should've been provided in your letter as per the pre-action obligations in the "Practice Direction - Pre-Action Conduct". I am not in a position to make good judgement based soley upon your letter as a large number of details about the claim(s) are omitted.
My correspondance address is:
Please note, I am not able to pick up mail from that location between 9th - 16th October 2018
Yours Faithfully0 -

Why not give Gladstones some grief, complain to their regulatory body that they are trying to defraud you, a practice which even the SRA does not condone.
http://www.sra.org.uk/home/home.pageYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
