Court Claim by BW Legal

Thank you so much for your help. They have sent me photographic evidence and since have changed the signage on the wall in the location where I received the tickets. The new signage is bigger and more visible compared to the old sign which was up when I got the ticket and this is the new evidence I want to submit. His lawyers have come back to me belittling my evidence and argument saying I won’t win in court and to settle out of court but I think that’s hugely rude and am not prepared to settle anything!!! So at least with what you are saying, I still have time to submit this new evidence. I will have a proper look at what you posted after work when I have time to digest it properly. Thanks again for your help and speedy reply.0

Ok so I can send new evidence for this case. Now the question is, seen as I do t know who is dealing with the case or when, where do I send the new evidence? I am guessing I will have to send a copy of the evidence to the solicitors of BW Legal, but who do I address the new evidence to at the court? Do I just send it to the court house with the case reference? Thanks0

Good morning, so today I am getting a phone call from a mediator to see if we can sort things out before going to court. Is there anything I should or shouldn’t say? Any helpful tips will be greatly excepted, thanks0

You should say ''thanks but no thanks'' and put the phone down.
Search the forum for Mediation Mary and you will see why the clear advice in the NEWBIES thread, and on any thread about Mediation, is NOT to bother to be bullied that way.
You should not have agreed. There is no middle ground to settle this dispute.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. I will have a read. Funny enough they have missed the time period they said they would ring me so god knows what’s happened!! I got my court date now anyway so I will just look forward to that. Thanks again0

Well no, you must plan your WS and evidence first, and show us. Or did you do that already? I didn't see you reply if this had happened?I would wait to see if the letter ordering the hearing date, says a date by which all WS must be filed & served...in which case you could file & serve something before then.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Saturday morning I got a letter from BW Legal and it was a “notice of discontinuance”. Does this mean they have stopped pursuing me for the fines and have pulled the plug on the court date? If so this is fantastic news!!! But fell like it is a smoke screen for something else0

It's two months late for me to reply, but just saw this when searching to show newbies why not to try Mediation.
Well done, you won!
