  • NSD 13/15 today :)
  • Spendy day today.
  • NSD 14/15 today :D
  • Afternoon,

Today has been a spend day, so I'm still on 7/15 NSDs.

The boy went to an indoor trampoline place, total spends £17.50.

We then went Christmas shopping and I spent £48 on presents for my brother, his wife, son and daughter. I set a budget and came slightly under. I then bought two photo frames for £6.78, which I will put a nice picture of the boy in and give it to his dad/grandparents for christmas. I just need to get the photo copied and reprinted. So that is six presents out the way. I am trying to do the small bits as I go along. I will move money over from my christmas fund later.

I also treated myself to some new earrings, bedding and some pretty spends. The boy also got some slime, yak. Our total spend there was £36.90.

So yes, quite a spendy day but all is covered. Nothing has gone onto a CC, that is good.

  • Monday and Tuesday were NSDs for me so 9/20 so far, today won't be one as I'm going to buy new slippers - unbudgeted and not an emergency but mine are beyond mending and I hate cold feet!

Well things didn't pan out quite as I thought :rotfl::rotfl:

On the plus side, I sewed and glued my slippers so Wednesday WAS an NSD, then our dog broke his leg on Thursday morning, and while the £2000 of vet's fees could count as an emergency spend , we had a Chinese takeaway on Thursday night, breakfast at Starbucks on the way back from dropping him off at the veterinary referral centre on Friday morning and an Indian takeaway on Friday night and supermarket cr*p (crisps doughnuts etc ) yesterday :o:o:o

Feeling bloated and disgusting now :o - and if I was doing a comfort eating challenge I'd be killing it this month :rotfl::rotfl:

So the long and the short of it - we're only on 10/20 so not likrly to make the target this month, but I'll keep on to stop bad habits creeping in and aim for an NSD today!

Thank you. Now I have 7, but as you say, better than none...
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

    Emergency fund 100/1000
    Buffer fund 0/100
    Debt Free (again) 25/072025
  • Just realised I will also be spend free today. So, NSD number 8 now.

  • NSD 8/15 here. I'm at work and left purse at home.

Once I finish work I will head straight home, have some tea and get an early night. I'm drained.
