Wow - an imminent clear frog list *envy*
    Serious envy here HB

There isn't an inch of this house that doesn't need some attention, and I have listies that are pages long. That's all outstanding and will forever be so. The house suffers from permanent wear and tear exhaustion, but the Frog List is the one that I really care about because it's like debt - it's just always there, pulling me down. Sadly I didn't have the energy to get cracking on it yesterday, but I have printed off a couple of bits of paperwork to get it rolling this morning.

Aaaanmnnnnd then I did two loads of washing and will peg out the second in a minute, I need a shower because I'm hot and sweaty, two chaps are arrving by 3.00 pm today, lovely lodger left this morning, I need to send him a receipt because I forgot to do it before he left, superking turned around, double turned around, shower room cleaned, superking carpet spot-cleaned, and loo brush washed and bleached *ureargh* and dead bulb replaced, keys, parking permits and visitors book ready for arrivals.

I'm hoping I'll have the energy to frogmunch this afternoon, I so want it done and tomorrow's not conducive to doing it.

I don't know, by the way, FBO. I used to spend just as long cleaning the chalet as the house. Maybe it's just us?
    Better is good enough.
  • Cleaning gunk chucked down the loo. Bins emptied (and I've retrieved the one left in the street now the NDN has removed his from being in the way of it). Washing needs to be hung up and there's a bit of washing up to do.

Other than that, I've shoved a chicken in the SC which should do enough food to cover until Wednesday and scarfed a prawn sandwich and a breakfast muffin with my cuppa. I should have eaten sooner, as I started feeling headachey (something to do with yesterday's food consisting of a mini spinach curry pot, a packet of crisps, two teas, one coffee and two chocolate chip cookies, I suspect) as I was standing in the shop waiting to pay, but hopefully that will go now I've had something.

Himself was on the end of some moron deciding he didn't like him because of the way he dresses in the village boozer late last night. Didn't last long - morons really should check first whether they're having a go at a randomer or somebody who grew up in the village and has dealt with similar from the age of 15 from tanked up farmers' sons.

Anyhow, all sorted and he's off playing in a session this afternoon before going back to see his Dad again, as his Auntie is back from her trip.

Flying-related, I definitely don't need to clean as much in a two bed, two bathroom house than I ever did in a tiny, tiny, two bed flat. Partly, I think, because there's room to actually put things away in the first place, so I don't have to move the shoes to get to the table to move the chair to move the settee to reach the bookcases, etc...
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Cleaned out Benny, pegged out washing, did the ironing hillock then sacked off (I believe that's the phrase but I might be wrong) the house work, flung a campfire stew in the SC and went out walking in the Peak District with DD. We've done about four miles, very hilly and my first serious hike for many a moon. Very amused by DD's request for a cappuccino in Grindleford Station cafe...where they sell hot beverages by the pint mug or half pint mug - and you can get coffee, black coffee or milky coffee. Or tea, hot chocolate or horlicks.
