I'm back. Thank you for the lists and for the kind words. We are making progress. My girl is more resilient than I give her credit for. Certainly doesn't get that from me.

There has been no flying here since last Wednesday, so I will aim for the level ones, in the hope that it keeps me ticking over.

Towels have been through the wm and are hanging indoors as it is so grim-looking outside. DW is empty. I need to get to the allotment this morning to tidy it up for an hour as it is my only opportunity this week. Then it will be onto the lists until I have to collect DD.

Hugs to everyone who needs them. X

Hugs, LW. So sorry that you are being put through that.

Have pegged out washing, was wearing my fluffy dressing gown...winter's on the way. Very breezy so am expecting it to dry.
Not a work day so am meeting a friend and going for lunch.

Mum has just phoned so I had better get my derriere shifting...

  • Hey all - I was a regular here before, with login details long since forgotten...! Pigpen ran the thread then and Toots was dishing out stars!! ⭐️

My login then was xx_Jo_xx I think... but I can't remember the password an no longer use whatever email account it was associated with, so Ive had to start again!

I work from home now, am married with a 16 yo DS and a 10 month old DD who is a touch on the poorly side sometimes -- so I'm back generally to get my house into some kind of order! Despite being home all day -- its not actually that easy to get stuff done! 😂

Welcome back returners. Hope everyone is ok today. I've been following but not doing much flying.

About to catch up with yesterday's list although I did change the bedding yesterday. The LR has also been dusted including pulling the TV stand out and cleaning behind it. Washing was up to date as of yesterday. Ironing still outstanding and the house could do with a quick hoover through.

  • Himself safely deposited back on the moor yesterday - and I've been pleased to find that he cleaned all the floors before he left, plus cleared a load of clean washing, shifted some gibble around the tumble drier, put shoes in the wardrobe, etc. And put some food in the fridge.

So I came in at 5.20, went through the usual after school routine of coat off-step over starving felines-switch kettle on-first relatively uninterrupted wee break of the day-back out-feed starving felines-make first cuppa of day AND also managed to fit in put pan onto to heat-get meat out of fridge-chuck in pan-chuck in frozen Mediterranean veg-chuck salad items into bowl-chuck in meat. Fed and watered by 5.45pm.

I have one bowl to wash up.

I've also got some little turkey fillet things out to defrost - I might make something for during the day, but if it does't defrost in time, it'll do for tomorrow night.

    Wot she said, MTJM

Glad to hear you've eaten, Jojo.

Apart from deciding what to get for DDiL1's birthday gift (because DS1 hasn't told me what she would like) I have done everything off my list for today. I have also
    - been to the tip fer-li-i-i-ing!
    - been to the CS fer-li-i-i-ing!
    - taken a photo of DH  for his Blue Badge application
    - done WMx3
    - cleaned the bathroom thoroughly
    - cleaned the windows in our BR and the study
    - tidied away the toddlers' craft things
    - tidied the landing cupboard
    - started shredding 2 years’ worth of invoices from when I was self-employed
    - cooked a full roast dinner for 3 of us nom-nom and our friend brought fruit salad for dessert :D
    - packed as much of Rosie’s bag as I can do this evening, ready for her 2 nights in kennels
    - not acted as taxi for DH this evening because he didn't feel well enough to go to model railway club :(

    It's been a productive day :)
