  • Opened the front door this morning to find that, due to a delivery at the building site, they'd stuck a barrier across the pavement and the bin men had blocked the gate with a bunch of other people's bins, rather than take them back where they came from. After climbing over the wall to get out and back (muttering darkly about their complete inability to comprehend what Disabled Access is for), I've just left them.

Trying to convince myself that going out and actually meeting people tonight is a good idea. I just wish the windowcleaner would hurry up and come for his money so I can get my 'arris into gear, as it'll be too easy to not bother if I have to wait around for him much longer. Debating about treating myself to a meal when I'm out, too. I haven't had cheesy chips for aaaages and the pub I should be going to does brilliant ones.

Himself is looking after his Dad by himself today and this weekend. Spoke to him briefly last night during Himself's usual evening phone call. He sounds very old and frail, compared to how he was just a few months ago (and he is only 65), but at least he managed to exchange pleasantries.

Better nip upstairs and wash my hair at least, as I won't go anywhere with it looking this ratty from being so busy all week. Only two weeks to go until half term! But I have expressed interest in taking on an additional role that, apparently, is worth over two and a half grand extra a year if a teacher decides to do it - no idea if I've got a chance, but if I do, I hope that they appreciate that I'd expect the same. In any case, it might gee them up into deciding whether I'm going to be made redundant or not this side of Christmas.

Tomorrow should be my pottering around and tidying day again. It seems that there's not actually so much to do when it's just me and the cats.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Washing up cleared, breakfast cooked and scoffed, meeting attended, and huge stash in the attic sorted which I've been meaning to do for weeks. Hurrah!

Now for the tax return and then I'm sort of Frogless for the first time since I became a Flylady. I've been working towards it for nearly five years, so that would be amazing.
    Better is good enough.

OH has fell asleep on the sofa. I’m thinking leave him there as he’s quiet so I’ve done washer, put some stuff away, allocated space in freezer to some mince, realised one of the bags we brought was for home not caravan

I’ve realised all my wedding cards are still out here ..... not sure if I’m ready to put them away yet but realise I probably should

Going to do some lists and a meal plan. Browse some recipes on here
    For inspiration

    Serious envy here HB

Sorry I haven’t been posting. I’ve been reading but only just keeping my head above water and I hate typing on the tablet.

Why does flying in a 2 1/2 bedroom house take just as long as a 4 bedroom plus 2 study house? Mmmmm. I know. No cleaner and no dishwasher plus 2 people working out of the 2nd bedroom.

Is there a steam coming out of ears emoji?

I’m flying. Just not to lists.
    Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18
    Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o

Morning everyone. Hope you're all ok. I've been following but not posting much.
    Well done to HB.
Not a lot of flying done here this week but more than last week.
Today I have done the dailies and picked the last of the tomatoes which took an hour.
Next job is to make soup.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
