Somebody is going to end up £140 out of pocket for this mistake

Option 1: it is you, the person who made the mistake (entirely fair)
Option 2: it is the company it should have gone to if they refund you without having the goods (entirely unfair)
Option 3: it is the company you sent it to, they have no contract with you, it was addressed to them so rightly received, it would just be a parcel of random items with no financial value to them whatsoever, under the new data protection rules they may not be allowed to look up your details even if that was a possibility, plus all of that takes up staff time, who will compensate them for the time spent dealing with your mistake. (Again entirely unfair to expect them to pay for your mistake)

Send them one more incredibly polite email (although if you've already had an attitude with them they will not want to help) asking for them to please try to look into it and contact you if the parcel shows up. Other than that write off the money as a life lesson in being more careful with what you send and where you send it to. Ultimately even if it shows up now you are quite likely out of time to return it to the original company for a refund so will still not have your money but if you agree to pay for the postage the other company may send it back so at least you have the items.
