    Sigh

The ones who do pay, all pay equal.

But not everybody pays - MS do not pay

    Says who?

Quote from your own link ..

"In several cases it happens that a vendor is tested even if it do not apply for it. In this case, the costs will be covered either by the magazines or by other independent parties, which requested the results."

Take from that what you will.

Please be accurate when trying to do the whole "you're wrong" thing

    Where is it inaccurate?

(and also try to spell it right ;) )

I did but got it wrong,

  • I would say look at the recent AV independent lab tests and analyse according to the scores.

According to the results Norton is better than McAfee in terms of anti-malware protection but when it comes to system performance both are equally good. You can check detailed comparisons to make a informed decision.

And you revived a twelve month old thread to tell us this.
  • Bitdefender for me for the last two years their customer service is superb and the package is excellent,

  • Norton is the best and they do offer some VPN bandwidth

As I posted on another Thread, I was running Kaspersky Total Security when Kaz informed me that there was a conflict with Malwarebytes Premium and I should uninstall Mwb. This after running both together for 3 years! So I kicked Kaz into touch, went with Mwb, and activated Defender.

System is quicker, bootup is faster, resources are not hogged by Kaspersky. And it's all just as safe, maybe safer. Whether or not there is anything in the Russian connection, I don't know. But I do regret ever paying for an AV, apart from Mwb.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
