Absolutely! I have a Dell Latitude M6800 (albeit only with 8GB RAM) ... it's quite a beast of a machine yet runs like a Usain Bolt wading through treacle.

I've used Comodo internet security premium for years with no problems. It's free and you get a firewall and AV.


I've thought about using the windows firewall and defender but if it ain't broke don't fix it.

McAfee slowed my PC down. Been using Norton for good few years and have no such problems with it.
Very happy with it.
