Finally plucked up the courage to join in and try to get my toiletries collection in check. I'm not too bad when it comes to certain items (e.g. shampoo, conditioner) but I really need to work on using up things like foundation and eyeshadows instead of buying new ones all the time.
Does anyone else find all the christmas value sets really hard to resist? Will have a proper sort through my stash and try join in on the finish 12 by christmas to try and focus on the products I already have I think.
Welcome. Looking forward to seeing your list for Finish 12 by Christmas. I used to have a problem with value kits from QVC and that was how I developed a stash in the first place. Now, I only buy them if I will use the majority of the items and can either gift/sell the others. Am in a quandary at the moment about the Laura Geller TSV coming up on 4 December. Kit contains Balance n Brighten Foundation, 2 highlighters (1 I’d like to try and other to gift to daughter), lipgloss topper (??) and eyeliner. If I can buy the two highlighters on QVSELL I will but I doubt it as no doubt everyone will want these. If not I’ll probably buy it as I’m coming to the end of my Balance n Brighten and could gift the lipgloss to my friend at work for Christmas.
I do however still have a problem with GWP offers. Seems I can’t resist a “freebie” and have to make myself consider carefully whether I’ll use the free item anyway.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

kadison - how have Lancome valued that free gift at over £95 for a full size scrub and some minis? It seems like a fantasy value on their part.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Not really toiletry related per se but I am having a stall at a pamper evening on Friday which is a ticketed event. I've told the lady organising it I would try and come up with ideas on where she could leave leaflets to try and increase ticket purchases. Where would you expect to see the event advertised and make you want to purchase a ticket?Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Sold a Lancome mascara, a Clarins Eyeliner and Bobbi Brown party palette on eBay today. These are all paid. I also sold 3 mini mascara - one buyer contacted me to say they changed their minds, waiting for others to pay. Another item has a bid on it and will finish tomorrow. I UU'ed a Korres Shower Gel this morning. I love Korres but this one didn't last long - a bit surprised.ally.0
