My updated lists. I'm not sure I will finish the Elasticizer this month and I really struggle with the hand cream as it is just so greasy.
I am using all the 7 by Christmas items regularly, I feel sure the concealer will be gone this time and hopefully the brow pencil and lip crayon but I'm not sure about the others.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

One UU from last night:
Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid 118ml WMBA but I probably won't. This was nice but it didn't really do much for my skin, when it's used consistently or not. It also felt sort of weird on my skin. I'm going to see how I get on with the Cosrx BHA Liquid.0 -
Hello everyone, cold weather has arrived. I need to up my hydration game.
I bought Clinique Smart Repair Serum yesterday. It was better than half price at TK Maxx and I do like this serum.
I'm giving few bits away to a charity that does a collection at work. Some unused make-up and toiletries will go to women who cannot afford interview clothing and preparation. I am also selling some bits on eBay, all have bids on them so I will have a few outs before the month comes to an end. I didn't buy anything unnecessary so pleased with myself.ally.0 -
Hi everyone, long-time lurker here!
Finally plucked up the courage to join in and try to get my toiletries collection in check. I'm not too bad when it comes to certain items (e.g. shampoo, conditioner) but I really need to work on using up things like foundation and eyeshadows instead of buying new ones all the time.
Does anyone else find all the christmas value sets really hard to resist? Will have a proper sort through my stash and try join in on the finish 12 by christmas to try and focus on the products I already have I think.0 -

Welcome to the thread. I don't really find the Christmas gifts tempting, when you get them unpacked they aren't really that good so I would rather spend my money on one or two things I really want.

St Ives Invigorating Face Scrub - have been buying this off and on for years and really like it, WMBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Two UUs today:
Nivea Pearl and Beauty Deodorant 50ml WBA and have. I like this, lasts all day. I prefer the Stress Protect one though, but I can't find it anywhere lately.
Colgate Plax Soft Mint Mouthwash 500ml WPNBA. This was alright, but I grew sick of it. Glad it's finished. Will look for a different mouthwash.0 -
UU for this week
41gm Mitchum AP/Deo stick 7/92
250ml S&G Mist You Madly 8/93
No7 Eyebrow sculpting pencil Blonde 9/93
Two more possible for October, cannot tell by weight or looking at them yet.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Welcome. I used to but not anymore. I find that I don't use most pieces in sets so buying individual items is better value for money.ally.0 -
:APOSSIBLE ENABLING POST:A
Hello all!
An update from me, quite a big one again!
UU
Charles Worthington Restoring Brunette Conditioner 250ml - WMBA but probably not
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy 25ml - WNBA, very weak formula
Dentyl Mouthwash 500ml - Smooth Mint - HG
Guerlain Meteorites Birthday Pearls of Powder 25g - WNBA Bought these half price to see what the fuss was about and I agree with Avon that theirs are just as good, and these had a strange smell!
Lancôme Belle de Teint Powder - Belle de Moka - Lovely formula but a bit too dark now it's winter so WMBA in a lighter shade
Lancôme Bi-Facil Eye Cleanser 125ml - HG
Lancôme G!nifique Eye Light Pearl 5ml - Very nice, happy to use if I get it in a gift set but I wouldn't purchase this seperately
L'Occitane Shea Rose Heart Hand Cream 150ml - UU as a foot cream as it had been open for a while, very nice stuff.
L'Oreal True Match Powder N4 - HG
Original Source Shower Foam 180ml - Lemon & Lime - WBA
Primark Face wipes x 25 - Cucumber - LOVE these! WDBA!
Superdrug Trichology Re-Balancing Scalp Tonic 150ml - Very watery but effective and a good stand-in if I can't afford the really good stuff.
TA/GA, I had a clear-out of make-up that doesn't suit me or that I never use
Avon Brow definer - Brunette
Avon ExtraLasting Lipstick Vintage Pink
Avon mark. Gel Liner Pot Brown
Avon mark. Gel Liner Pot Plum

IN
Benefit Hoola Bronzer 3g - purchased the magazine to get this and I love it.
Dentyl Mouthwash 500ml - Smooth Mint x 2 - necessary IN.
No7 Airbrush Away Foundation 30ml - Cool Ivory - I'm coming to the end of my Estee Lauder cushion foundation and this was down to £12, still in the BOGOHP promotion and I also used a £3 voucher.
No7 Match Made Bronzer - Golden Sand - Perfect shade for me for winter and included in the above offer.
No7 Revitalising Cleansing Wipes x 30 - Used £5 voucher
Philosophy Shower Gel 480ml - Candy Cane and Shimmering Snowlace - I love these and found them for £7.99 each in TKMaxx
We were in Oxford today and went into Debenhams, I saw Lancome had a great offer on with 15% off and a free gift, I'm nearly out of my eye cream so bought that plus a gift set in a case which I think might have been last year's 'spend £40 and get this for £50' Christmas promotion.
I didn't like it at the time but in comparison to this year's set it's brilliant, plus my Lancome case from a few years ago is in a bad way! It also has a full-size Bi-Facil which is my HG eye cleanser, a full-sized mascara (I LOVE their mascara!) and some face creams I've never tried. The free gift (there was a choice) has a full-sized face scrub in it which is an item that I'm low on in my stash, so it was very much worth the bother for me!
I paid £79.05 for this lot...

Welcome! Yes I do but generally only the high-end ones where they actually are decent value, I have a spreadsheet that works out how much gift sets are actually worth and you'd be surprised how much you could overpay for some brands (Boots' own brands are generally horrendous!)No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
