Indigo railway parking ticket - already hastily appealed
Comments

Good evening all, I apologize if my query below has been answered on previous threads by I would be grateful if someone who has gone through a similar experience might be able to advise me: I purchased a parking ticket for a railway station car park in June 2018, unfortunately it must have fell off the dash as I closed the door. A ticket was waiting for me upon return. I appealed to Indigo on-line providing a scan of the ticket and asking for it to be withdrawn, but I got a standard email reply rejecting the appeal which I ignored. To my surprise, they must have got my details via DVLA and today I received a letter in post from ZZPS asking me to pay total of £170 (£100 parking charge and £70 admin fee). There is no proof that I received the email from Indigo. There are discrepancies on the information given on the parking notice about being able to further appeal to 'POPLA' but the email stated there is 'no right to further appeal.....' However, drawing this to attention would admit that I did receive their email. Has anyone else received such a letter from ZZPS? what did you do and what was outcome? Thank you. BillJ0

lots of people have had similar letters
after 6 months there is no liability , so eke it out until december
just IGNORE indigo and ZZPS unless you receive an LBC or an MCOL
there are dozens of similar threads on here, just use the search box to find them and to read them, its the same advice for all of them0 -
None of it matters, BillJ.
You can safely ignore Indigo's pseudo penalties at railways (explained above).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have recently had my 2x appeals turned down from Indigo
After reading the advice on here I thought that you could not get CCJs or credit rating wouldn’t be affected by ignoring these fines or invoices?
I am very worried now as I could not afford for this to spiral out of control like what has happened to this woman as reported in today’s Daily Mail (link below), I have to remortgage next year and can not afford for my credit rating to get affected like this.
Should I just pay these?

Yes I have read them, how is not like my situation?
Different parking location
Different PPC
Different landowner
Different stage in the process
Not relevant land
Different contract
No possibility of court
Byelaws apply
You didn't ignore
Is that enough for you to be going on with? Please, read the NEWBIES and the advice you have already been given. All your questions have already been answeredI married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

!!!!!! has the DM case got to do with Indigo parking charges at railway stations?
C'mon, please either enlighten us, or quell the hysterics.
You know what, the next person who asks people who give huge amounts of their lives to fighting this stuff 'Should I just pay', I'm going to say 'Yes - get on with it, and just save us so much work'!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My concern was that I thought that you could not get a CCJ from these parking companies and that this woman has now got a huge bill of legal fees so I wanted to double check on here.
I really appreciate the advice but there is no need to be rude0
