No. I wanted to be a librarian, but didn't feel ready to leave home at 18. I worked in a bookshop for several years, where I was very happy. When my son was born with severe disabilities, I had to give up work and I'm still his carer now. I'd love to return to work, even part time, but there is no one to look after him in school holidays, and he has numerous appointments that I need to take him to (which would be difficult if I worked school times, as clinics are always in the day time).0

I don't think i actually had any career ambitions in my teens. Found a job which I thought offered prospects but left after 18 months and found another where stayed with same employer for 35 years, but doing different tasks at different grades and in different locations during those yearsIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I wanted to do electronics in the RAF but they threw me out after 31 years and I had to find a new job0

Nope - didn't know what I wanted to do then, still not a clue now, and don't even know where to begin to work out what I want to do!0

Depends which bit of the teens. Before 17 the answer would be no. Scarily, after 17 the answer would be yes - union official!0

I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do when I was young .
It's complicated :rotfl:
I ended up spending most of my working environment doing Postroom and facilities jobs for well know advertising , market research and financial companies .
Could've bettered myself , but then again it could've been worse
