hi rog.. well done on getting that asda job.. .......well today, i finally did go out, but only spent 68p. i know within the nxt few days i will need petrol, but i can only afford about 3-4 quid on petrol at the mo... but i only need the car on thursday and friday this week, i have the works van for the weekend ;)...its getting easier and easier to survive on less money, or that i am just getting used to going without stuff that i really dont need, but used to always buy.....;) hopefully, no more spending just for the sake of it... and i nearly always get stuff on debit card now, which saves me using cash, like before, if i had a tenner and i needed £6 worth of stuff, the other £4 would just disappear so easy......;)

    Monday - NSD

But - think the exhaust on my car is a bit rattly. Shall I just turn the radio up to cover the rattle?!?!?!

Rog - sounds like the job is going well? - Congrats to you hun.

    Coolmum. x

my exhaust is 'blowing' (which is probably eating into the petrol usage??) but it passed the MOT two months ago so i keep putting it off - to get it fixed. and really cannot afford to at the moment...false economy??

Speaking of car troubles, my front passenger seat belt keeps unclipping randomly. It passed the MOT (and I know they checked cos all the belts were plugged in), it's not usually a worry cos it's often just me and the dog (and she gets the whole back seat).
Should I get it fixed? How much do you reckon it will cost?

Have a great meal out Pap, enjoy yourself.

  • I moved in march and moved to a different council,( i get I.B and D.L.A. I have schitzophrenia and severe clinical depression) I was getting full housing benefit and council tax. and when i moved into the flat i am in now this council told me at first i was on full benefits, then after about 3 months the housing association told me i was in debt with my rent. I phoned the housing benefit office and they told me i had to pay money towards rent and council tax, and wanted the money i owed them. So now i am having to pay the debt back to them for C TAX and to the housing !!! for rent. Then 2 months ago i got a bill from my old council saying i owe £1,700 rent and £470 council tax, i was living there 11 months. I sent them an offer of paying £5 a week off the debt and they said it wasnt enough. I went to M.I.N.D for help and they said leave it with them and they would sort it out, they didnt and the council went to court and got an order out aganst me, So i just couldnt cope anymore and took an overdose on 27th october. while i was in hospital someone from M.I.N.D came to see me and said they would help me again. Nobody got in touch and i cant get through to them on the phone. Now today i got a letter from a bailiff dated 25th october saying tey are coming to remove goods to pay the bill! I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

hi raphael.. if i were you, i would get it fixed, you never know what could happen, and if the worse came to the worse, whats more important your life or saving a few quid......it should be such an easy job and very cheap....maybe just ask someone down your road if they could help fix it, just for a drink.....you never know ;)
