Parking Fine after car was seized by police

  • You respond back tleling them to cease and desist contacintg you
Include copies of docs showing the vehicle was seized on X date, which is Y days before the parking charge notice (NOT A FLIPPING FINE!) was issued

State that as of X date:
1 You were no longer the driver as police had contrl
    2) you were no longer the keeper

As such under POFA2012 and common contract law you have no possible liability. POFA only assumes the RK is the keeper unless the contrary is proven. As the police sezied it, THEY became the de facto keepers, and you have therefore proven the contrary
You suggest they take it up with X police force, as you have no interest in the matter and your position onthis is final. Should they continue to harrass you, despite being provided proof you have no liability in this matter, you reserve the right to sue them for compensaiton for misuse of your data and harassment, ref Vidal Hall v Google and Ferguson v British Gas.

It's not even a parking fine, it's Athena!

    Do as nosferatu1001 says.

Also send the V5 slip to the DVLA saying the car was seized/transferred to the Police on xx.xx.18 and enclose proof so they remove you as rk. If you do not get a reply, chase it up within 2 weeks, you need it confirmed or you could keep getting fake PCNs and even real ones and speeding fines.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
