Horizon parking Sainsbury's Kingston

Ok, will send an email to the ceo directly. Should I just explain what it really happened (was given wrongful info regarding the car park)?0
-
wait for a postal NTK, then complain to the CEO, because at the moment you dont even have an NTK reference to cancel (see post #10)0

Tell your story but be polite and honest. A heartfelt mail often carries a lot of weight. Do it AFTER you get a ticket.0

Quick update, just received the ticket through the post and promptly wrote an email to ceo and store Manager. Let's see what will happen.0

Ticket cancelled after email to ceo and store Manager

This is the quickest way to do it.
Let the bosses tell the parking scammers what to do.
Seems like Sainsbury's are getting the picture
Better than the contempt shown by Tesco's who are
currently chasing the tail of Aldi who are opening at least
another 130 stores, guarantee all their new stores will
be near a Tesco.
Tesco will need to treat customers with the utmost
respect ...... they are so behind the times0 -
Just adding to this thread for others as have had a recent experience with this. Overstayed by 1 hour, but was genuinely under the opinion from a quick read of the signs that I would be able to pay the difference having shopped at Sainsbury’s. I got a PCN, but appealed by providing evidence of my shop (Nectar statement) as well as photographic evidence of the signs. My reasoning was that the signs have large lettering showing prices for different hour slots, but very small print conditions against these, which with slightly dodgy eyesight, even close-up are hard to read as the signs are at quite a height. My PCN had just been cancelled!Hopefully this is helpful to others.
All the signage in the car park is designed to promote the free parking and the yellow detailed signs are few and conditions very small. I find this totally unacceptable and no doubt many people get caught out as a result.2
