When Banks don't Act on FOS Findings

I really think you should be considering talking to one of the financial journalists about this. Your treatment at the hands of TSB is scandalous, and I'm not convinced the FOS adjudicator is doing enough0

Surely it is now time for a branch visit about 10 minutes before closing armed with a substantial chain, padlock, flask, sandwiches and telephone numbers of newpaper financial reporters.0

I'd have no idea of how to get in touch with such a reporter or of how it would help my case.0

It would help your case because the senior echelons of all parties involved would suddenly become aware of what more junior staff are c@cking up, (apologies to the FT). It's surprising how many 'impossible' things become simple with a little bit of publicity (and embarrassment for the guilty parties).0

It's certainly food for thought if it help accelerate my case.0

A letter arrived from TSB this morning advising the new address has been updated, however for the next three weeks others types of mail will be issued to the previous address TSB held for me as it takes this length of time to clear their systems. It looks like my debit card and PIN will be going to the previous address on my account which is frustrating.0

Unfortunately my issue drags on, the adjudicator just sent the following:
Dear Cotta,
Thank you for your email.
I’ve escalated your complaint within our service, however, I’ve not yet heard anything.
If I don’t hear anything by the end of tomorrow, I’ll chase this up.
Since we last spoke, have you tried transferring money from your TSB account? If so, can you please provide me with details of the error message you now receive. Also what are you seeking in terms of redress?0 -
Perhaps you could suggest TSB visit the cemetary and engrave an apology on your headstone when this is resolved.0
