    That's probably because their legal advice was they had no choice but to take the car back, as previously explained.

    I asked for a 400 quid protector pack for paint and interior, so that needed to be factored in also. Yeah, i lost a little here, just glad it will be going.

    Interior protector is a can of scotch guard so under £10. Paint protect materials cost the dealer around £30 and are only really effective on brand new cars as it is generally a special polish that seals the paint from environmental wear.

    well no you can get ceramic coatings* for non new cars, infact even for new cars the paint needs to be decontaminated before application.

    *not to be confused with fake guff sold by dodgy dealers such as arnold clark
