Just popping in to say my heart goes out to TA and family, and am sending love & hugs. The hospice sounds like you are all being cared for well, they do a wonderful job & it sounds in a lovely setting I hope Mr TA is pain free now. He will certainly know how loved he is with all the poems and visitors xx
I have been minding DGS for a lot of the weekend as his Mummy is in the same position now with her Dad in our local Hospice , and her family are taking turns . She came for DGS this afternoon but I am picking him up from school tomorrow and he is staying over again. He was a bit subdued and kept asking when Mummy was coming but didnt want to go out anywhere.
Just waiting for Bodyguard to come on TV - I hope DH can stay awake,he and DS2 have been working hard over the weekend as they had to get the dormer roof covered over on their job ,luckily the storms seem to have gone for now.
Hope you all have a peaceful night x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Another busy Sunday....... BILs memorial mass at 10 (4years),lunch at 1 with bereaved cousin who had left her meds at home 73k away when she came for her mother's funeral, so took her home and back to stay with her brother as she doesn't sleep if alone.
My heart and love are with the TA family, hospice services do wonderful work for all involved..... you are all in my prayers.
One of my dearest friends fell down her stairs last week and broke her neck..... her spinal cord is undamaged, but she has a bleed in her brain which is being monitored. The lucky thing in it all is that her daughter and husband were there on holiday, they have postponed their return to Nigeria for 2 weeks but after that their visas run out so must go back. Not sure what she will do then, will talk to them during the week and see what can be done, I am fairly tied up with grandchildren, but will do what I can.
Must go to bed to prepare for an early start with DGD6.
Love to all........ normal service will return at some stage
