If it is Parking Eye and you are happy to pay the costs (including the amount owed on the ccj) then they will often allow a set aside with consent.

The fee for that is £100 as opposed to £255.

If PE have their act together they can be very, very difficult to beat in court so it's worth thinking about.

You would need to contact them and negotiate. They are sometimes very happen to negotiate a deal.

You need to act quickly though as an application for any set aside needs to be made promptly upon discovering you have one. The law doesn't say what promptly means but it's generally taken as 28 days.

Jeez - do you have any idea about using Google? That's a Civil Enforcement Ltd phone number. SFA to do with ParkingEye!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So easy to get drowned in the histrionics here - a major brain addling phenomenon. Only CM seems to be able to rise above it - serious kudos! :T:

F*ck me sideways - you're not f*cking-well dealing with ParkingEye (thank your lucky stars that you are not!).

PE is nowhere near involved, no more so than Michel Barnier, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, Theresa May, Cyril Ramaphosa or Vladimir Putin!

You're dealing with CEL. How about getting to the crux of this.

Cel may well discontinue if they see a decent defence. It's not guaranteed but it's a possibility.

    Eh?

But if you read all the recent Set Aside threads, you will see you need to do more than fill in a form. Read some set aside threads (not just one, out of the hundreds here).

Search the forum for set aside Civil Enforcement £255 draft order

...as you need a decent Witness Statement (as per all the others exactly like your case) and a 6 point draft Order to hopefully protect your £255 and get it refunded, when CEL discontinue...
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
