TT could if they wanted , offer FTTP in the same way they offer FTTC , buy it in wholesale and sell it retail , but for whatever reason they chose not to, Sky until recently also had no interest in offering FTTP ( whilst happy enough to offer FTTC) but they have recently announced that they intend to start offering FTTP, over Openreach's fibres, but no date or prices yet.
There are other ISP's that already sell FTTP over OR's network , but they tend to be niche providers that don't follow the stack em high sell em cheap philosophy , so you may find BT are the value provider in comparison.
If your current phone service is delivered as FVA ( fibre voice access ) then the number may not be recognised on the DSL checker, you may have to use your address rather than the phone number.
Its possible ( but not that likely ) that you may be able to get FTTC , in which case a cheap FTTC deal may be available , but FTTP and FTTC available at the same location would be rare0
