If you input car park into the search of this pub's reviews on TripAdvisor it brings up three pages of complaints. I think this would make the local rag. They are losing business as the people that have been stung with a parking charge will never go back, In this current environment with pubs closing every week they cannot afford to lose paying customers.

Don’t issue that LBC against Smart Parking as Civil Enforcement Ltd (CEL) is the PPC involved here.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I feel sympathy with the OP however there are also issues with the way that these aggressive parking companies are damaging businesses and the high street.

Its a sad state of affairs when a disabled person visits a pub for a meal and a drink and receives £100.00 fine for not inputting their registration when they were served outside. What are we coming to as a society?

Ok, alter the thread title to say court claim and the name of the PPC

Post the issue date from the claim form below

Email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC to get all the documents and pictures and data about you and your vehicle

Don't be AOS online first, following the advice in the newbies sticky thread post 2

Indeed, they lose so many cases. Do you have any grounds for a counter claim or a claim for unreasonable behaviour costs do you think?

Now you have a claim spend some time learning about this in the newbies FAQ thread

Post #2 there covers Court claims right through to the hearing

A typo has got into post 47 above

Your first job is to do the AOS (all explained in the FAQ post)

That buys you an extra 14 days to get the defence in (making a total of 28 days from the date of service)
