Hello there everyone. I received a letter today chasing the remaining two tickets as well as the others that were already written off by POPLA. I didn't fill in the forms as I read on the 'newbies' thread that you do not have to answer questions. Have I misinterpreted this? They are asking I send the forms back.

I also wonder if they have breached conduct by invoicing me for 26 tickets already written off by POPLA.

Nothing from PPC for SAR request, just this response from the solicitors.

the others that were already written off by POPLA.
Really? 20 separate POPLA appeals? Why didn't you feed that back to us after all the help you'd received earlier?

On what basis were the POPLA decisions made?

Do you still have the decisions in your possession (or computer saved) should you need eventual proof?

    Sorry about the late response.

I didn't say about them being written off as I didn't realise you would like to have known, and that's not meant to sound sarcastic. I would have happily fed back if I thought you guys would have appreciated it.

The POPLA decisions were made as the PPC hadn't issued an NTK under POFA 2012. I am unsure if the windscreen tickets will fall into the same category though as they were not issued in the same way.

Many thanks again for all the advice, it has really helped me out.

Windscreen PCNs would have to be followed by a compliantly-worded NTK between day 29 and day 56 after the parking event. If not, then they cannot hold a keeper liable (we assume you never ID'd the driver?).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nope, driver was never identified. I'll go through the paperwork and ensure that the NTK is the same incorrect nonsense they sent to me initially. I'll build my defense around that if it is the case.

I've not yet received a summons and I'm wondering if the PPC have decided I'm not worth the hassle as I have already beaten them on the other 20+

You won't be receiving a summons as it is not a criminal case. You might receive court papers from Northampton CCBC.

you wont receive a "summons" because this isnt a criminal act or case, any court papers will be an MCOL from Northampton CCBC (usually) , an N1 form

google MCOL and you will see the paperwork, plus there are images online you can view

and if you do get one , you will be composing a DEFENCE, with no S in it , lol :)

What do you imagine keeps us (very small number of) regulars coming back here, day after day, dawn until midnight (and later), helping totally random people with their problems?

How do you think we get any 'job satisfaction' from this, because there's nothing else we get from it - the pay is shiite!
