MSE newsletter email problem

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place for this but the MSE email has changed today and wondered if there was any remote chance of getting an alternative version anywhere.

Our broadband is poor so we choose to get things like this in just a plain text version, the email usually has a bit of a nag about not viewing it in all it's bandwidth eating glory but there usually follows text and links that give the basics, the one we got today only has a link to the version on the web site.

Sorry for the delay replying.

We've taken the decision to simplify our plain text version of the email. Our stats showed nearly all people who received the plain text version clicked through to view it online.

Simplifying it means we can focus our efforts on the html version, which nearly all our readers get.

The online version is around 1mb. If you use an extension or text based browser that blocks images you could halve that.
