Blimey compared I have a quiet life! :rotfl: I've seen Paul McCartney (homecoming gig at the end of his world tour :D ), G4 and Il Divo...slightly different to Bon Jovi I would say although I loved them back in the 80/90's "Always" days :D

I wonder if there is going to be anyone on at 2008 Summer Pops worth going to see? I tried to get tickets to see The Who this summer but they were sold out within minutes :( Oh well...I think I might have a look at Ticketmaster with OH later and see if there is anyone on we'd like to go and see :D With the summer we've had (splitting up) we deserve a treat even if its just going as friends :D

Time to pick DD up

wow, what's the programme and when is it on?

Sky news... I think. the guy is from Sky anyway.

Calling back later to arrange the interview. It's all about online identity theft using facebook, myspace etc. If you saw Watchdog a few weeks ago, I was on it. They managed to open up bank accounts, set up credit cards and arrange loan's for 4 people out of 100 on facebook!!! Just be the information on their facebook profiles and a hacker who knows what he is doing.

Hello all. :hello: I'm back on this thread for the first time since the site went down. We don't have kids and our spare room is my study so doesn't have to be done today  . Sooo, I am just working through my own little list this afternoon. Until about half an hour ago I'd done nothing except sit on my bottom all day surfing the net and listening to the radio. Not good, I'm supposed to be working from home. Just having one of those 'I can't motivate myself today' days. Anyway, will be going to pick up DH from the station in about an hour and want to get as much as possible done before then so we can relax for the evening. Done some stuff already:

    [strike]Litter tray[/strike]
    [strike]Clean hallway[/strike]
    [strike]Hoover bedroom[/strike]
Mend bedroom doorhandle - this is very important. My sister pulled the handle off months ago (I forgot to tell her that if you use A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF FORCE to open the door from the inside WITHOUT TURNING THE HANDLE it will come off - cheap plyboard door - can you tell I'm irritated? Lol.) Anyway, we can't close the door because the handle's not attached on the inside and it means that everytime we try to spend some 'quality time' the [strike]bl00dy[/strike] lovely cat interrupts us and puts us off :o (sorry if TMI).
    Cook dinner
    Washing up
Make soup with leftover veg to clear out fridge for tomorrow's veg box.

All this will be done to the accompaniment of very loud music. :D

What was I supposed to be doing? I'm sure it wasn't looking at Facebook & here :o:rotfl:
    • Dailies
      • Dishes - More to wash, so I might as well prep tea and then wash up
      • Kitchen S&S - needs to be done again :o
      • Evening meal - Fish pie, peas & mash (using bought puff pastry & white sauce cause I can't be bothered :p )
      • Paul McKenna CD
      • [strike]Wash Load[/strike] rug still drying, WILL THIS STUFF EVER DRY??? 2 more piles on the floor in the kitchen
    • Livingroom, hall & Stairs
      • Dust
      • Damp wipe where necessary (banister, switches, coffeetable)
      • Dry clean window (microfibre cloth - no pets so don't really get dirty on the inside, just dusty ;) )
      • Paperwork Clearance
      • Wipe skirting boards
    • Kitchen
      • Clean windows
      • Clean cycle on WM
      • Freezer inventory
      • Clean oven
    • DD's Room
      • Dust
      • Sticky mark removal
Okay, I best go and whip up a couple of cakes to go in the oven while to pie is cooking, then again I best make the pie as well :rotfl:

Well teacher spoke to me. Assured me the boy was spoken to by the playleader (but obviously playleader did not inform teacher). Am a bit confussed why he was not made to apologies. An accidental elbow etc I can understand, kids are kids but to deliberately thump someone in the face and smile while doing so, well I can see what he is going to be like in a few year time. Not sure what DH will say, and I am not overly happy myself but no sure what else can be done about it:confused: .

I have run out of steam now. Have got washing in so now have ironing to do. Ordered replacement part for parents boiler over in spain which I will have to ship to them. At least tea is easily sorted HM lasagna from freezer for me and sausage, egg, HM oven chips and beans for the rest:D .

My Paul Mckenna books/cd turned up, very weird sensation when doing the exercises, felt numb from the neck down - not what I expected.
  • Afternoon all. you all so chatty this week.
The only concert I've been to is to a TAKE THAT one last June. It was fantastic. I am going to see them again on December 15th for DS1's birthday and i can't wait. I was one of the original take thaters. Yes... I know, Sad!

well today I have done master bedroom. I have changed to the winter duvet too. I can't believe the amount of space it left in the airing cupboard. I have managed to fit all the christmas presents that didn't have a real hiding place yet and i can now walk round to my side of the bed.
I no longer have a floordrobe, so i am pleased with my progress today.
Oh yeah, i also did the pile of ironing:T.
    Nothing to declare ;)
