What a load of ol gasbags you lot are - when I looked at lunch you were on page 11 and now we're up to page 15 !! Takes ages to read everything (dont want to be rude and not read it so that leaves no flying time
)
Thanks for all your good wishes today, its certainly been a challenging time. Had parents meeting with DD's teacher tonight and she says "she is VERY bright but has a certain nonchalance about her" !!! She is certainly not working to her ability but is well behaved and polite at school, so gotta feel proud of her for that much. Teacher thinks we should have a meeting , me her and DD and let her respond to some of the things we discussed so thats the next step on the agenda. Also mentioned that it could be hormones but I didnt think they kicked in til later as she's only 8. Tried to help her with her homework tonight and gave up after 40 mins as we had done a sentence and a half!
OH came out with a classic last night. Having booked my hospital thing for when he had several days off he tells me he has booked nights for Tues Wed and Thurs. All very well but I have to take the 'potion' twice tomorrow and had told him my friend kept passing out after taking hers and am being sedated on Thurs. He says well if you pass out you'll have to phone me - :mad: now would that be before or after I come round, and thats a paramedic talking ! And of course we havent heard anything about the car yet so still have no car to get home from hospital so options so far are 1 back of motorbike :eek: .
Anyway nicki sounds like I'm not the only one that has bad days, and pigpen yours arent bad theyre hysterical yuk dont do squishy. Torianut she's 8 too and would love to hear what your DD is like in comparison. Well done sexymouse on your first day. Rach well done and good luck. Rumblytum, love the name and welcome. I work FT and have DS 15yrs and DDD (Dear daughter devil) 8yrs. It is hard to keep up but I find meal planning saves time as I dont spend 1/2 hour thinkin what shall we have, and once you get in the swing of it it becomes easier to fit bits n pieces in, like when kettles boiling wiping cupboards down, or brushing teeth in mornings giving bathroom sink/shower a wipe over etc. Worst thing is this thread gets addictive
Well I'm for bed now. Will def do some flying tomorrow as have to stay at home close to the throne so maybe catch up on ironing or kitchen.

Morning
Guess most people are on the school run but I've got OH doing that and he's just done a 12 hour night shift!!! while I sit here and wait for my breakfast to cook. Making the most of it as its the last food I can have for 48 hours and I'm usually starving after about 2 hours.
Gonna breakfast and shower then crack on before the potion kicks in as I dont know how much I'll get done then.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :hello: Time for the school run already :rolleyes: Will be playing catch up today I think, and I know I need to do another wash load as DD is wearing her last clean blouse (need to put her other 3 in to soak in oxiclean again as they have pink stains on them
). Parents evening went well again another glowing report :rolleyes: Sometimes I wish I would get a DD "has been fighting" or is in trouble of some sort just for a different tune :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all
It's quite cool out there today. :coffee: first and then some gentle tidying up to get me going, need to do loads today. Things have been slipping a bit these last few days on the areas that were looking good.
Also need to double check where we are on the present stakes and make a few phone calls. Have been waiting for replies for a week on one of the calls :mad: but didn't want to chase too soon.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
