  • I certainly agree with seeing and trying the TV first.

    I once bought a Toshiba TV which, when I got it home, kept asking me if I was sure every time I wanted to alter any setting. It was so annoying the TV went back the next day.

    Ignore Currys,when u can get a 6 year warranty for free from Richersounds, it will cover your lunch that day.

    Buy a Sony if u can best available picture around, ignore all other Brand names apart from PhilipsLG Samsung,have a look at the brand Hisence new to the market.tell me why u have to travel to it???

    Parents had their tv delivered by two forign guys who set it up for them but didn't know how to retune it or show them how to use their built in recorder. Do you think this will be in the instruction booklet?

    download the instruction book,which tv did you buy.its auto tuning on modern tv.

    Should be realtively easy to do, maybe try the Menu option on the remote.
  • I tried 2 separate Samsungs from JL and had to return them both due to lipsync issues although loads of people swear by them.

    Definitely buy from JL or RS although Euronics stores are pretty good as they are local independents
