Has anyone tried paying off a Barclaycard or Virgin Money credit card bill with their Curve card ?

If so, was it charged as a cash advance ?

    With what underlying card?

Thank you - I haven't dared use my Curve card since those changes came into place. It is a big risk.

Has anyone had any success getting refunds from CC companies for purchases classed as cash transactions. I have only just noticed one made in Sept (Tesco 0% on purchases for 26 months - direct debit setup to pay minimum owing per month), that has been gaining interest since then. Seems very unfair.
Curve don't want to know. Compliant logged with Tesco

What did you "purchase" as the transaction?

My curve is a Mastercard. The Tesco T&Cs only seem to suggest cash transaction fee applied to prepaid and virtual cards. Am I right in thinking my Curve is none of these?
