I know that the pharmacy used to supply my ex mil with tablets that were already in a pill box for the week or two weeks.
Can you ask yours if they do the same?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Hi I am back and the weather is soooo much nicer now - clear blue sky with a very warm sun but a brisk wind
Dim Sum was very tasty - first time experience for the 3 of us - my DH enjoyed everythingbut a couple of dishes that DSis did not enjoy
Conversation flowed freely amongst the adults but the 3 kids were all on their devices
Went for a stroll by the dock afterwards - very pleasant ending to the lunch. Arrangements are in hand for another lunch with a couple of other neighbours as well :T
DB has just phoned - he is busy with gardening & house projects until next Friday & then he will be working away from home for a few weeksAlways nice to hear that everyone is well in Germany.
Anyway, back to commenting :rotfl:
JackieO, how exciting for DGS Jack & I love it that he is taking his good luck charmWhat a great nanna you are :T
nmlc, bearing in mind how much weight you have already lost (well done by the way :T), I think you might be right about your target being a bit too low:D - can I have some of your will power, pleaseIf I forget to say it, I hope you have a wonderful holiday

ScarletRibbons, I hope you have the bright blue sky & warm sunshine to accompany the wind& thanks re the comments about DSis :T The older I get the more I notice but the less inclined I am to comment :rotfl: I am blessed in so many ways that I just have to call to mind how fortunate I am & that in the scheme of things a few niggles are nothing
( the thread ‘5 OS Pleasures’ is a wonderful thread to concentrate the mind
)
Hard Up Hester, I love your posts about life on the water & how the smaller living quarters concentrate the mind on leading a clutter free life :T Is there still a chance of a residential mooring? Or does that have to wait until next year? ‘Peripatetic’ - I had a vague idea of the meaning because of the context, but I have now looked it up- what a musical word
LaineyT, free appleswhy wouldn’t you pick up a bag  there are nowt so queer as folk
Gers, that is what I call frugal & eco friendly living :rotfl: When I am trying to find things for the cs I tend to donate the newer ‘stuff’ & keep the older better made ‘stuff’
Nelski, thanks for letting us know about Holly - I had been hoping that the ‘tough times’ were behind her. However with the support of her family & friends, let us hope that Holly weathers the storm & can settle back into a calmer & less fraught life. Cream cheese with the salmon? if so, can I come round :rotfl:
-taff, I am lucky enough to be able to pass DIY jobs to DH :rotfl: Lucky you on the quince supply :T

Last post :rotfl:
The table garden bed has been planted - the lavender plant has been split into 4, the sm basil, 2 flowering plants, my mini rose & most importantly my Rosemary plant have all been de-potted & planted. The flowering plants will eventually go in the garden proper & more herbs will be planted once I have decided which ones to plant (I may even try to grow from seed but need to read up as I am not a ‘natural’ gardener :rotfl: DH has laid a row of anthracite coloured slabs in front of the shed & we have finally put all the gardening tools in the shed :T:T
Now back to commenting :rotfl:
Camelot, isn’t it nice when everybody’s food choices are catered for
dp1, again NOT boringI find it comforting to have a routine
Gers, you are so right - it costs nothing to be kind and thoughtful & I believe I read somewhere that it can be very beneficial health wise as ‘happiness’ hormones are released by both the giver & receiver of the kindnessAfter lunch when we went for our little stroll I managed to pick up 15 bits of litter & my neighbour joined in :T - kindness to the environment :rotfl:
She then told me a lovely story about her eldest boy - he has to go across a park to get to school but headed off in the wrong direction because he was chewing gum & wanted to put it in the bin which was not on the way to school :T
Csarina, nice to see that OH is managing his ablutions. Please take care of your backFingers crossed that the new firm re OH’s care come back to you & something can be sorted. I hope that your U.S. friend is OK.

snoozer, enjoy your trip:think: what was that about cheering :rotfl: Your description of returning the hostage had me in stitches :rotfl: I just pictured you all in long dark coats with black hats lurking at South Mimms :rotfl:
maddiemay, still holding out on putting the CH on - only another 45 days to go :rotfl: Good luck for tomorrow
AoD, “standing in front of the freezer” strange way to behave :rotfl: usually people stand in the corner :rotfl:
Cranky40, glad things have settled down a bit. Re the weight - better no change than a gain - you must be doing something right :T
LameWolf - wow ! - I would fail miserably - I struggle when I have to take antibioticsYou are a marvel :T

The washing mountain has not reduced, it was damp late morning through to tea time and since then it has poured, no real hurry we have plenty of clothes, towels etc, I just do not like it hanging around and have been so spoiled this summer.
Chatted with my best friend this afternoon and arranged our next meet up, make for a happy MM:D:D
Mrs SD your completed garden tasks have put me to shame, nothing achieved here today:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

This may be a daft idea but what about a large sheet of paper each for every day divided into sections and the pill boxes or pills put on top of it in the relevant section?
Had a busy day as three dds, a sil, a bf and baby all came for lunch. I made a large beef and mushroom pie using pizza dough instead of pastry with roast potatoes and green veg and everyone seemed to enjoy it. DD and SIL brought dessert which was sweet of them and we all got to cuddle the new baby.0
