Use the time to collect evidence through Subject Access Requests.
Do I take it they want to proceed to court since they have completed the DQ?0 -
This phase is "free" for them, having paid the filing fee.
The real test is whether they pay the hearing fee.0 -
Ok great thanks for clarifying. Will I see the updates on MCOL online if/when they do pay the hearing fee?0

No.
Once the case is transferred from the CCBC to the local County Court, no further updates are recorded on MCOL.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Evening all.
I have received today a letter (dated 8th November) saying Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing).
There is no information on the hearing itself etc.
Does this mean that UKPC has paid for the hearing and we will be attending it at a further date or is this part of the normal "free" process?
Before you crucify me however I want to add that I checked the Newbie FAQ and the process posted by Loadsofchildren however I could not find the answer...

This is normal.
Depending on how busy they are, you will soon hear from your local court, about the hearing date and the date by which all parties must exchange and file with the court, their evidence and WS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you but does this mean UKPC have paid the court fee for a hearing, or they have not paid it yet at this stage?0 -
I think not yet, as the hearing fee is paid after a hearing date is set.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello everyone I hope you are well.
I just want to update you that the date for the court has been set for some time in April.
I wanted to ask if I need to be doing anything in the meanwhile with my defence any paperwork etc. I'm not too clear on the FAQ thread with the next steps an when should I contact the court to find out with the hearing fee has been paid?
Many thanks in advance as always for your invaluable help!0
