Annoying about the delay on making you permanent, so a good idea to get your cv out there just in case. Good luck with DH's job interview, I hope he gets the job. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Well I'm seriously hoping it is.....
DH's second interview went well and there should be an offer in the post todayThe downside is that they don't pay travel but the upside is that the offer is up for negotiation, so something may be able to be sorted
at the most we will be slightly out of pocket but not by very much.

DH just rang and he's accepted the offer from the other company
He officially starts on the 5th November. If his present one lets him go early then he has told the agency that he'll start earlier.
What a relief!!!
Okay so financially we'll be a tad worse off each month BUT it's nothing major that can't be solved.
Told DH that we need to take the opportunity to sort ourselves out and we will be ok, he agrees.
We are going for a beer tonight to celebrate :beer:0 -
Fantastic news, well done to DH .
By the way are your Christmas savings just for food or do they include presents too? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

That should hopefully cover family presents and the food/drink. I also have a £100 gift card from my mum lurking somewhere, that will also cover the food in January.0
