Morning,

Been having issues with the school trying to sort DD's Options out, she has finally managed to do them BUT I need to authorise them on Sims App and I've not received anything through...I have for the third time over the whole thing emailed the school. Not to mention that they emailed last night to say that they've messed up the Options choices and missed two of them off!!! :mad::mad:

In other news, I rang the lady yesterday and I am currently waiting for a response, hopefully she will ring me back today with regards to the job that they seemed so keen on talking to me about.

DH is uncertain about the job he's got and feels like he has taken a step back and is where he was 5 or so years go. He spoke to a recruitment agency last night about something that may be more local to home too. I told him this morning that if he is genuinely not happy, then he needs do something about it. So we will see.

Pay day next week and I can finally make more payments off the CC's.

I hope you manage to sort out DD's options, it sounds a bit disorganised.

I hope you and DH both manage to sort out jobs for yourselves that you're completely happy with.

DH's pay day tomorrow. get to see if they have finally sorted him out properly tax wise.

I've lost all motivation with work at the moment too.

DD's Guide leader has notified us of a third camp this year, I swear DD has a better social life than me! lol

DS can't decide if he wants to go on the IOW camp with Cadets.

Lunches to work this month have gone to pot, so seriously need to sort that out in April

I'm on holiday from the 5th to the 12th April, I am aiming to blitz DD's bedroom, as she stated she wants a desk in her room and being the little hoarder that she is...she has soooo much carp to get rid of.

The boiler is also down for a service on the 5th April.

DH's payday today :j so relevant payments made to the CC's, the BC had a transaction on it that I forgot is annual, so that has risen slightly but the over all figure has gone down slightly.

We are in the £14K's again though :j

I am going to think about my April goals and get them posted on here so that I have them and know what I am aiming for.

Hope you've managed to sort out the options for dd, my dd has chosen her's too. Triple science for her which is what she's wanted to do since she was 7!

DD options finally got sorted in the end, the school do something called 3D Design which incorporates DT, Art and Engineering. They do triple Science as standard so she has no option on that one. but she did place Computer Science as her reserve option. x

It's all so strange to me, we never had so much choice and it seems to be different here in Wales. They have to do Welsh Baccalaureate as standard as well as Maths, English, PE but then so much else to choose from.

Her design, art and engineering is all separate so could only choose 2, she wants to do engineering apprenticeship when she finishes school.

I agree it is very different from when I did mine too.

DD got told that they have to do maths, English, science, pe, RE plus a language they then have 3 free choice options plus one reserve.

It's a shame that your DD could only choose two of the three.

Your DD sounds very similar to mine, mine wants to go into Construction same as DH and I but wants to follow in DH's footsteps.

Forgot to add, we got told that they can do the English Baccalaureate if they choose but it depends on the individual and if they want to do it.
