  • I hope there isn't any come back, but it's not the sort of thing you should have to deal with so hopefully he won't come back.

I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday :). Our birthdays are quite close together as it's mine soon.

I really hope you hear about those other jobs soon.

  • Morning,

It appears that said person is not going to be removed from site and they are not willing to mention anything to him about it (in case it provokes him to bring it up again!) I said that if that's the way of it ok, but I will be civil to him and professional and nothing more.

DH is livid.....I am now firmly looking for another job

That is awful P, surely in this day and age there are complaints procedures that have to be followed. If you have to deal with him in the mean time make sure there is someone else with you. Oh I'm angry for you, I had this with an ex boss who was evil and even though I put in a formal complaint it was clear nothing was going to be done. Left my work of 10 years over one awful person.

Is there someone higher you can raise it with?

    H x

If I wasn't actively looking for a permanent position elsewhere and was already employed by this company, then I would take it higher, the HR lady is some DH knows from his previous company. But I have decided that it is just not worth the hassle. I don't generally speak to him unless I need to anyway.

I'm ringing the other company tomorrow if they don't come back to me today.
  • That's very bad that they expect you to put up with inappropriate behaviour because they don't want to rock the boat . I think you're right though, you may as well step up your efforts to find another job. A completely unacceptable way to deal with the situation but as a temp you don't have many rights .

    Thanks hun xx
  • Hmmm, I have been playing about with some figures on my pots spreadsheet and I can get rid of the BC by June, or possibly earlier, if things go the right way :)

I can then plough payments on to the MBNA and then once the CC overpayment pot has built up again, I can pay a chunk off the MBNA.

I know that the MBNA won't be paid off before the deal runs out but it should (hopefully) be about the £3K mark.

Sorry to hear that , hope you manage to find another job ASAP to get out of there x
  • Morning,

DH was ranting about the situation with work last night. May be he is right and that the boys should've said something to him but what he doesn't seem to grasp is that I only heard the conversation from him to someone, I wasn't part of it. Seriously fed up today!!!

Going to give the lass a call this afternoon and see what is happening with the potential interview/job with them.

3 working days until pay day.

Kids have a mufti day tomorrow, so need a £1 each for that.

I forgot the mention that the CT bill came through....Next year I am determined that we will have at least half of it saved.

That is awful  I hope you manage to get something positive from the other job today.

I'd love to be able to pay all annual bills as soon as they come in! That's my ambition eventually.
