Where in the Consumer Rights Act does it say that? I have a copy of Chapter 15, Part 1, Chapter 2 and it says...
"After one repair or one replacement, the goods do not conform to the contract"
It do not believe it stipulates the same fault and was advised this by Citizens Advice.
In fact this would be the third repair as they had 2 attempts at repairing it the first time.0 -

I think you may be right, this part here states (but I'm not very good at reading the jargon!):
(6)There has been a repair or replacement for the purposes of subsection (5)(a) if—
(a)the consumer has requested or agreed to repair or replacement of the goods (whether in relation to one fault or more than one)
However.. they are offering a fix, and if they decline the refund, then you have a long and stressful time ahead of you through the courts (unless the s75 goes your way, but I'd say they will side with the garage as they are offering a solution). Personally I'd take the fix offer.0 -
The garage did the brakes when I got it and the messed that up and had to send it out to Porsche to remedy their mistake. This fix involves dropping the engine out and re sealing the block a rather specialist job and they messed up changing the brakes. Confidence in them is 0. But if S75 fails I would be mad to take to court.0
