Hi all :hello:
I was going to say I have not been terribly MSE this weekend, but writing it down actually have had a few wins! Yesterday just *felt* very spendy.
- bought a new bolt for the bike mudguard (70p for a pack from the local hardware shop) so now it isn't all loose and floppy! No plastic waste and saved a few quid over replacing the whole thing.
- we didn't get maccy D's. In fact, we didn't get maccy D's twice. Actually all meals and snacks from home
- trialling the b00ts basics cleanser (£1.75 instead of £5-ish).
- got my winter boots repaired (new heels and soles). Actually surprisingly expensive but should be good for a couple more winters.
- load of laundry mostly line dried - in the tumblydryer now for 15 mins as it wasn't quite there
Unfortunately I did not have the right needles to make a present, so bought one. Got a bit carried away and bought a beautiful handmade card too...
Have meal planned up to Thursday evening (my payday is Thursday), we will need bread and possibly cheese. Should have enough cash for this so the bank accounts can be left static - always pleasing. Spent a lot of time as a passenger in the car this weekend which has enabled me to progress with my first pair of hand-knit socks. Collected some sloes while walking the dog tonight - feels early but they're ready where we are... We already have some basic gin and sugar in for sloe gin
Hope everyone is doing well this evening0
