Wow, wow, wow, Gtq, that is amazing! Well done, Midge.

I hope the accident got cleared up quickly and you got off on your break, Denise. ETA, just caught up on what’s happening. Sorry you didn’t get away yet.

    Nothing happening here.

Got away this morning and arrived on site about 11 o'clock. Forgot to get soup out of freezer so ended up having a breakfast out. Definitely the cheapest one I've ever had! All of 99p:money: Egg a d bacon were griddled so negligable oil. Beans micromaved and didn!t eat the sausage, gave that to DH.

Hope everyone's out enjoying the glorious sunshine. It's a fantastic day here but cold. Football later so will need to wrap up. Will be taking hot coffee and some fruit.:D

Thinking aloud: DH made eggs for breakfast so I'll have to have a JP again today. I really need to make some soup for the freezer as lunchtime choices are a bit limited. Just thought, sardines would be a possibility as I half a HEB going spare. Sorted!:) I'd like ideas for soup though, my favourite is lentil and veg made with ham stock.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, half HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: half HEB toast, sardines, beetroot and cornichons
D: bacon wrapped chicken breast, hassleback potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (broccoli, sugar snaps, asparagus)
    Syns: cheese 3, weekend wine:)

We had a lovely sunny day too but definitely very cold, I'd even go as far as saying it was bitter.

My go to soup is carrot and lentil as I've usually bot carrots and always nhave red lentils in tne cupboard. Sometimes make it spicy with some cumin and corriander other times just leave it as it is.

Made a nice minestrone last week from tbe SW website. I also quite often make a 2 pea soup in the pressure cooker. Uses dried peas and frozen peas so again things I've usually got in stores. If you want the recipe let me know and I'll post it.

Sorry to hear you're feeling like that but hopefully things will improve.

Don't worry about ranting on here it'll make you feel better to get it off your chest.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Woohoo, maman, a point for you! Another defeat for Bairns, boohoo. I’m glad I was busy making a ‘pretty witch’ costume for DGD, so we didn’t go to Dumfries. BTW, in Scotland you can’t take a flask/bottle into the ground.

Glad to hear you’re on site, Denise. That was indeed a bargain brekkie.

    Take it easy, bubbs.
