Hello, I'm new!

Hello everyone!
I've just registered, really need to sort myself out financially. I know my debt isn't huge, and the student loan is OK as it just comes straight out of my wages.
I am paying off the Smile O/D (because they cancelled it and asked for all the money back ) at £600 a month, which is really difficult.
Today I have read some of the threads on here, and have registered for survey sites and some competitions so hopefully I'll make a little bit there. My job is well paid, so I should be able to pay off my debts quite soon, but it's just so stressful at the moment. I have about £10 to last me the month, and it was only payday Wednesday.
Anyway, hello, and I hope to get involved in some of the threads. If no-one minds, I'll use this thread as my "diary".

Welcome to the site :kisses:, you will get some great support and advice on here. £600 per month repayment bit steep, Smile seem to have done this to a few people, is there no scope for negotiation i.e £100 per month?Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:0

welcome you're in the best place. If you've read lots of other posts you'll know what i'm about to say - you need to post a SOA and then lots of very good people will be able to help you save money without going without everything. good luck0

Sorry, what's an SOA
I sent my outgoings to Smile and they said £600 / month based on what I spend. Have only paid £500 this month as I have literally nothing more to pay - so will be getting charged for that.
Tomorrow I am going to sort some more stuff for ebay and bag up all my coppers.
It just seems that things like that make no difference at all. I think this is my problem. I always think £10 or so won't make a difference.
Thanks for the welcomesTotal Debt: £0 [STRIKE]£33,043[/STRIKE]

Hi southernbelle - welcome to DFW!!
Smile are a bunch of @rse - they did a similar thing to me. Took my debit card, cheque book and stopped me setting up any direct debts. Arghh. Anyway, left and went to A&L - all good so far...
Good luck and keep posting
