Parking stressed. It appears that the case that Bananasparking has just won is very similar to yours. VCS and the same case was quoted,

I don't know if this is any help but the court where I have to send my WS will accept a WS of 50 max pages by email. You could ring and ask if they will accept by email.

The transcript to Excel V Smith is on the Parking Pranksters Blog. Resources-cases. It trumped the Jennings case.

Thanks everyone, but all to late now as I had to get it in before 2pm as per CouponMad said. I'm expecting to lose. I split into WS and skeleton argument so I could still counter their WS as that was all I had really. In the WS the overstay itself is not in dispute, the driver (whichever of us it was) didn't check the signage, which isn't that bad actually, and their signs and letters appear to be compliant. It's a free car park with no windscreen notices.
But as several of you also said, by not doing anything I'd definitely lose so I suppose it's better than that. But I keep remember things I'd phrase differently/add/etc etc if I'd had time to do it calmly (you've probably already gathered I don't really do calm but hey). Just down to Judge Lottery now I guess.
Thanks for continued help. I'll probably just try to forget about it all now.
Wondering how I'll get the news either way, now I'll not be there in person.0 -
The skellie does not need to be filed at all.
File it anyway0 -
I know it doesn't have to be but I put it in because otherwise I had next-to-no case, as the WS statement was 'it was dark, we don't know which of us was driving so we don't know who didn't read the signs properly, I didn't seem to receive any letters'. I've thrown myself on their mercy with evidence of my daughter's multiple hospital admissions and will just have to hope for the best. Thanks.0

Why not send the Judge a supplementary note...can't hurt! Send it...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If they have inflated the claim by £60.00 for debt collection fees and they have been using DRP and Zenith (same set up) they work on a no collection, no fee basis. You should try to knock that £60.00 out as it is abuse of process.
