Awh i duno why theu have said it takes 7 working days then il see if i can push it earlier as the seller wants to complete now she rang me and told me if i can get them to complete i can have the keys :T fingers crossed we can

As mentioned before we are applying for a remortgage with Pepper. I completed the final check call this morning....they said they have to check the final checks and then we should hear something in about 5days. Fingers crossed all goes ok.
Can anyone help with the following please:
How do they check the final checks? And what is the process with the solicitors? How long does that take?

We’ve just had the valuation done for our purchase and have been told it will take them a couple of days to review and get a mortgage offer to us which is fine, but how long does it take for them to pay out once they give a mortgage offer?

EM2119 unfortunately there is still a long way to go from this point I think ours was 9 weeks and we was first time buyers, no chain and the house was empty. It all very much depends how quick local searches co. E back, what they find etc

We complete Thursday were exchanging on the same day, we have paid what we need to pay and everythings signed so my solicitors said we just need to wait for our call to collect keys:j
Like ive said before its not real until we get the keys! Did u exchange and complete the same day? And what time did u get a fone call to collect your keys?
EM2119, I put the offer in on a house in January the valuation was February/March time and we should complete on the 2nd May, its a long stressful time i have to say but im sure its well worth the wait:D
Rs2019 im not sure with re mortgaging as im a first time buyer i think the final checks are when they ring to go through bank details payment dates and the total amount borrowed. (I think thats the final checks)

I have to say im so nervous about exchanging and completing the same day as nothings legially binding until the day:o
