This really beggars belief and I intend to report you for accusing me of lying. I did NOT lie - a lie has to be intentional - how many more times do I have to explain that I have made mistakes, this seems to be a mortal sin on this forum unless I am prepared to grovel and squirm.
As the ethos of this site seems to be predominantly about trying to humiliate people who are new and unsure of the quite extraordinary "terms of engagement" I will point out your inability to spell words that are in common usage. Maybe you don't understand how to use the spellchecker - very simple takes about as long as looking up acronyms.
You, too, seem to be using the "Royal we". Have you checked with other users to see if they agree or are you just desperate to jump on this pathetic band wagon of witch hunting.

My opinion of you is of far more importance to me than yours is of me. To quote a phrase previously directed at me on this forum "Try and get your head round that"
I have had quite enough of this nonsense masquerading as help and support and will be seeking this elsewhere where I, hopefully, will be treated like an adult by adults.

I did not fib - that means lie. I did not LIE - I made a mistake but will not be making any more because I have had quite enough of this and I am out of here.

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help and tried to understand that for a new user this site is not particularly user friendly.
I've had enough - all I was after was some help to deal with this unscrupulous company but it seems that some of the responses are akin to Facebook with Delusions of Grandeur and some are just downright criticisms of me???
I have not been rude to anyone and if I have made mistakes that's because I was new and needed to find my way around the way of doing things.
I will be signing out with relief as I have found this experience far more stressful and irritating than dealing with CEL.
My initial experience was when I posted on someone else's thread. This was a MISTAKE but I was told to stop hijacking their thread and start my own. I had no intention of hijacking - it was a genuine error and there is no clear instruction any where as to how to start a new thread. Maybe obvious to you but not to me - for that, it seems, I should be truly ashamed and penitent.
As for Etiquette - I think that accusing someone of lying should be unacceptable. Why on earth would I lie? If you long time posters get a buzz out of patronizing new users and misunderstanding their efforts the that's your problem but no longer a problem for me as I'm off.

Whatever you do, DON'T pay money to any ''appeals company'' to 'help' you, and do not reply to any private message from someone oiling up to you and offering to help for free.

Look any company up on TRUSTPILOT first...fair warning to you.

We do not recommend any other place except pepipoo forum, to fight these.

Thank you - my feisty nature is very much soothed by your comment - so far I have done all I can and am awaiting contact from the court re. hearing date (if it goes that far). I might need some advice re. my Witness Statement at some point so I will bear in mind your kind invitation

Yes please do come back at WS and evidence stage.

CEL are occasionally turning up for the odd case now, and discontinuing some too.

We've never lost one against them when people follow our advice from start to finish.

But one poster reported they lost because they didn't notice the local court Judge - Brighton, ironically, given that I live in Sussex! - ordered that the case be 'heard on the papers' with NO oral hearing, and so CEL submitted a load of claptrap and the person lost without realising they were not going to get a hearing. They also told us none of this until it was too late. They had the right to insist on an oral hearing but they completely missed it, never read that bit...

A cautionary tale to read all court letters properly and to stick around & get advice.

Feisty-natured women like you and me, need to work together and beat this scam!
